Introduction to the Wholistic Management System®

Wholistic Management® is a term used for the management style that largely relates to the post-pandemic management methodology.

What is the Wholistic Management System® ?

We have read about the Holistic Management SystemIn this system of management, its believed that in every aspect of management practice, an unknown factor exists and has to be taken into consideration.

That unknown factor is akin to adding an  constant as used in mathematical substitutions. That constant is supposed to make the Wholistic Management a Holistic one.

For example, the Holistic Management believes that the whole is not the sum of its parts. There's a hidden element.

For instance, the sum of all the parts of a human body being doesn't constitute a person, again here there's a hidden element in it, and its non-physical, which is not a part of the total.

There's a metaphysical factor completing the total.

Whereas, in the Wholistic Management System® that I introduce here, there is no hidden element in its practices like in Holistic Management System. There's  No guess work, no philosophy, no ambiguity.

In fact, in the Wholistic Management System, there's more visibility and responsiveness in every aspect of management. This is due to the scientific management practices and the removal of the hidden elements and the availability of modern day's advanced decision-making tools, AI and just-in-time digital information systems.

Thus the Wholistic Management Style oozes confidence and certainty.

Parameters like the factors of uncertainty are eliminated.

Business continuation and contingency plans are in place and is covered every aspect of management strategy, planning and practice.

Wholistic Management Practice starts with giving a serious thought to What if? at every level of resource allocation.

No-one must be inevitable in an organization, no factors must stall the business, come what may and with no surprises or hidden elements.

In the Wholistic Management, systems must replace goals or processes at the core functioning of the organization. Thus the larger interests or the organizations are well protected at every level, be it, man, machine or material.

This is put in place with a disaster or contingency plan at all the key areas of functioning well in advance.

The Wholistic Management System® is a management style  conceived and advocated by Krish K. Madembeth and is a system that includes the What if ? at every stage of management practice.

What if something goes wrong like the pandemic, what is something fails? it doesn't affect the business because this is already implemented at the core called the Core Management Engine.

Hence, the business is well protected at every level, for example, be it at the financial level, at the systems level, at the decision-making level, at the manufacturing level or at the people level, and at every aspect of the management practice.

Wholistic Management System is like having an encrypted management for secure functioning.

This Wholistic Management principles enables an organization to achieve a much-needed stability, business continuance and instill confidence during turbulent times faced in the business during a sudden and unexpected resource crunch with systematic documentation and transparency.

Simply put, it becomes a plug and play setup for the next person (or resource) to take its place. As simple as that,

Wholistic Management is a plug and play management style. - Krish K. Madembeth

Good life starts with stability, Certainty and hope, and those are factors crucial in ensuring the stability to all the stake holders of a business.

Today, in these uncertain times, Wholistic Management is the need of the hour and ensures nothing can wait or no one can hold hostage in running a business.

The author believes that this sure shot approach to management practice will be hailed in the days to come.

What is the difference between Wholistic Management System and Holistic Management System?

Holistic Management

The Holistic Management® style is developed by Allan Savory forty years ago.

The Principles of Holistic is grounded in the belief that the whole is not the some of the parts and has an unknown internal force to it, example: curing a person’s disease holistically.

Holistic Management of Allan Savory uses a decision-making process to help ensure that the actions taken to restore land and livelihoods are ecologically, socially and economically sound based on the context described by the people involved.

In two-thirds of the world that is grasslands, much of the land regeneration involves the use of livestock, which are managed to mimic the behaviors of ancient wild herds in a manner that heals degraded soils, improves ecosystem function, and builds biodiversity.

It was a key insight, that livestock must be managed as an integral part of the wider ecosystem, that has helped thousands of ranchers around the globe to restore their degraded soils using holistically managed livestock.
